Iittala launches Sarjaton

Iittala has brought together six young Finnish designers from fashion, product, design, graphic and digital design to create a complete new dining table collection. The collection is created with respect for craftmanship and dining rituals. Sarjaton means 'without series', a reference to the authenticity of the design and the 'mix & match' quality of this well considered ensemble. I love the pastel colours of the Sarjaton collection and also especially the water glasses. The collection is inspired by Finnishness and a slower way of life. From september '12 the collection will be in the shops.

Anthropologie shopstyling

Anthropologie is my favourite shop. In New York City last weekend I made these photos in the shop. I love this shop because of all the beautiful clothes, home & living accessories they sell, but also because of the fantastic styling in the shop. The shops of Anthropologie are such a great inspiration!
For more inspiration or info for shops, there is an Anthropologie in London as well and many of them in US. www.anthropologie.eu

Lovely, these flowers in blue/green vases of glass...

Wow, just so fantastic what you can do with some simple vases of glass or old bottles. The green and blue colored vases give just a pure and bright atmosphere in combination with the flowers. Very easy to create this atmosphere at home and also lovely for example at a wedding at the dining table.

One day in Copenhagen, absolutely love this city!

For my work I was one day in Copenhagen last monday. I absolutely love this city! The weather was fantastic and the city comes alive even more with all the people sitting outside and people watching is  great in Copenhagen with all the beautiful man en women :-). Copenhagen has so many beautiful historic buildings. With the nice weather and the beautiful churches and squares I had the feeling at some places that I was somewhere in Tuscany, Italy instead of in Denmark. I'am addicted to Instagram and I took the above pictures while 'instagramming' my way around in Copenhagen!
